One of the best-loved characters in contemporary popular culture, James
Bond is best known from novels and movies, yet for the past 20 years Mr
Bond has lived a double life as a videogame hero. Videogames studies
scholars Prof. James Newman and Iain Simons eject from their Aston
Martin to give an entertaining and illuminating account of the history of
making Bond interactive. Expect a cocktail of music, action and cultural
theory – shaken but not stirred, of course.
